Akeso is seeking an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary (ENA) to join their team on a full-time basis. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an ENA, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, delivering personal and therapeutic care to patients. Your tasks will include monitoring vital signs and ensuring patients’ well-being in both mental and physical spheres.
Typical duties range from assisting with personal hygiene and nutritional needs to observing behaviour and reporting on patient status. Administrative responsibilities, such as documentation and stock control, are also an integral part of the job.
Participation in maintaining a safe and clean environment is necessary, along with adhering to protocols on infection prevention and health legislation. Active engagement with patients, families, and colleagues ensures the highest standard of care.
Teamwork is encouraged, and ENAs are expected to interact respectfully and professionally at all times. Rotating shifts, including weekends and nights, may be required to meet clinic needs.
