The Outbound Supervisor position at Jumbo Clothing is a permanent opportunity designed for individuals who thrive in busy logistics and warehouse environments. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals seeking a hands-on operations career. The position requires a minimum of two years in a similar role, an unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license, and proficiency in advanced Excel for data management and daily reporting.

Candidates can expect a standard work schedule and the stability of a long-term role. The job promises both professional support and career growth within a well-established company, making it a compelling option for ambitious supervisors looking to build a robust career path.

Key Responsibilities

As an Outbound Supervisor, you will support the Head of Department by overseeing order processing, data capture, and staff scheduling across warehouse operations.

You will also manage reporting, procure and dispatch uniforms and chemicals, allocate vehicles and trucks, and ensure all vehicle inspections are properly documented.

Key admin duties include reconciliation of company fuel transactions, ticket management in Spiceworks, and keeping warehouse filing and archiving up to date.

You’ll use logistics and warehouse software to track stock, RF scanning, and facilitate Inter Branch Transfers and accurate recordkeeping.

Team management, liaising with suppliers, and stepping up in the HOD’s absence are also part of the daily routine, making this a pivotal operations role.

Why This Job Stands Out

Jumbo Clothing offers an excellent environment for learning and career progression. The position includes exposure to multiple facets of logistics and warehouse management, perfect for building well-rounded expertise.

Another major benefit is the opportunity to develop strong leadership and administrative skills, while contributing meaningfully to daily operations. The role’s structure and requirements are suited to those who value responsibility and recognition.

What To Consider

The job’s fast-paced, multi-tasking nature may not suit those who prefer narrowly defined daily duties or minimal face-to-face management with warehouse teams.

There is an emphasis on deadlines and data accuracy, so if administrative work and accountability are not strengths, this role could prove challenging.

Is the Outbound Supervisor Role Right For You?

This is an excellent opportunity for those with some experience in logistics and the motivation to grow into a leadership position. If you’re highly organised, have people management skills, and thrive on responsibility, this role is well worth your consideration.
