What You’ll Do as a Finance (Business) Analyst
Daily, you will develop business cases, conduct scenario and variance analyses, manage budgeting and forecasting, and prepare flash figures. Your insights will help business leaders make key decisions. You’ll work closely with a small but highly skilled team and report directly to the finance director, acting as their commercial and analytical partner. Your analysis will be shaped using powerful tools like Hyperion, Power BI, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
You will prepare detailed financial plans, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, extracting and consolidating data for regional and global reporting. Key tasks also include analysing actual vs. budget performance, with a strong emphasis on sales, revenue, and expenditure. Month-end close work involves supporting shared service centres, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. You will also be called upon for ad hoc projects that demand leadership and financial expertise.
