Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The Accountant position is centred around recording and reconciling all transactions up to balance sheet level, ensuring every financial detail is accounted for perfectly.
You will prepare monthly management accounts, handle SARS submissions, and reconcile all statutory payments. This includes UIF, VAT, and EMP501 returns.
Ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with accounting standards and company procedures is key. Audit assistance falls within your scope too.
A good grasp of Xero and Pastel accounting software is required, together with proficiency in MS Office tools like Word and Excel.
Outstanding organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and a drive for precision are highly valued in this role.
