Role Overview & Compensation
This position offers a full-time, temporary contract with a monthly salary starting from R6000. It’s suited for candidates seeking employment with immediate start and possible permanence later.
Applicants need a matric certificate and a valid driver’s licence, as well as at least five years of solid driving expertise, preferably with hospitality or catering experience.
The contract runs for three months. However, if you excel in your role and show reliability, there’s a chance for a permanent position after the contract period ends.
You’ll work on-site as part of a well-established catering team, handling a mix of transport, logistical, and supporting duties.

Your Main Responsibilities
Expect your day to begin with checking your delivery schedule, preparing for bumpy city routes, and ensuring you have all relevant delivery instructions and client lists on hand.
Your core duty will be safe transportation: delivering food, equipment, and staff, as well as collecting items and replenishing ingredients as directed by supervisors.
Another aspect of this role involves frequent purchases—stocking up on quality ingredients and carefully keeping receipts and expense reports up to date.
Additionally, you’ll assist the kitchen staff with packing event orders, labelling items, and making sure every load is accurate and secure.
General support at events, plus looking after the company vehicle’s cleanliness and upkeep, will round out your day-to-day routine.
