Day-to-Day Responsibilities
The role of Remote Bookkeeper, Construction & Property, is both central and varied. You’ll manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all construction and property transactions are entered correctly and on time.
Processing accounts payable and receivable is a key task, demanding attention to detail and an understanding of industry transaction flows. The use of AppFolio is crucial in this position, so comfort with digital tools is needed.
Daily tasks also include generating financial reports for management, reconciling statements, and supporting regulatory compliance. Communication across departments is frequent and collaborative, especially when supporting both construction and property teams.
You’ll help develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), helping the company keep processes efficient and compliant. Training colleagues on best practices is also expected.
This is a full-time position, 9AM–5PM EST, and offers the flexibility to work remotely in a modern, supportive environment.
